2. It was really easy to choose what I love most. It’s
FASHION. It gives me the possibilty of expressing
myself by clothes. Fashion is inexhaustible source
of inspiration, you can find it everywhere : on the
street, fashion shows or blogs.
In this presentation I will show you what fashion
gives us.
I’d love to show you some of the foreign designers (
collections for spring- summer are amazing), but
unfortunaetly I won’t do it, cause it’s obvious that
most of you-guys could see it, so I will focus on
POLISH FASHION.
3. Fashion Icon?
• Actually I don’t have fashion icon.
Nowadays, there are many notable
people. For example it can be Anna
Piaggi – eccentric woman, who didn’t
care about what people thinkobout her or
Carine Roitfeld – powerful and
successful woman.
4. Fashion Week
• Fashion week happens twice a year in the major
fashion capitals of the world: Paris, Milan, New
York and London. Fashion weeks are held several
months in advance of the season to allow the
press and buyers a chance to preview fashion
designs for the following season. From January
through April designers showcase their autumn
and winter collections. Fashion week for spring
and summer is held from September through
November.
• New York City, London, Milan, and Paris each
host a fashion week twice a year with New York
beginning each season
5. • We also have got our polish fashion week.
It always takes place in Łódź. Fashion
Week is divided into many events. One of
it is ‘ The designers avenue’, where we
can see polish most famous designers’
shows. There’s also an exhibition ‘Young
Fashion Photographers Now’.
• ‘Golden therad’ is a comeptition for young
designers, who just starting their career.
6. Spring/Summer 2013
• Spring/Summer is already behind us.
Now I’m going to show you the most
stunning colections of the fashion week.
unfortunately only several of them. But
still it is worth to see.
12. Blog
• Fashion blogs are blogs that cover the
fashion industry, clothing, and personal
style.
• A fashion blog can cover many things
such as specific items of clothing and
accessories, trends in various apparel
markets, celebrity fashion choices and
street fashion trends.
13. Polish most famous bloggers
• Blogging in Poland is also really popular.
We’ve got our top bloggers and I’ll show
you few of them. You must see it!
