The Strahlenzentrum Hamburg MVZ is a private radiotherapy center in Hamburg, Germany founded in 1995. Between 2007-2012:
- It was taken over by Dr. Barzen and modernized with the latest radiotherapy and imaging technologies including IMRT, IGRT, CyberKnife, and PET-CT.
- It treated over 150 patients per day for radiotherapy and 50 patients daily for diagnostic imaging.
- It expanded to include 8 partner hospitals in Hamburg and began plans to open additional centers in nearby cities.
- It also made investments totaling over 1 million Euros in Romania between 2010-2012 to open radiotherapy centers there to address the lack of modern treatment options
