Sandy the Sediment By Minjoon Kang
One day, I, Sandy, was laying down on a cliff. I was a pebble, and I was just relaxing like every day. Then, the wind blew and I fell into the river. I thought I was a goner.
I started crashing into rocks and breaking into tinier and tinier pieces. The river started flowing faster and faster and I picked up speed on he stream.
The river started going faster and my heart was beating like a machine gun. I was right now as smaller than a finger. I was really scared.
Then the river started flowing slower and slower. I was now calm but now I was in the middle of nowhere. I was still scared but know at least my heart calmed down.
Suddenly I came out to the ocean. I saw other guys like me in the sand. I wanted to join them but I kept on going farther and farther out.
Then a wave suddenly pushed over to the sand. I was finally on land! All the sands greeted me and treated me like a brother. I finally felt like I was on a place where I belonged.
