Steve Stone has worked in the IT department at Emporia State University for several years, working his way up from an entry-level technician to now managing several staff and students as the Technical Support Consultant II. The President's Office holds major events requiring complex coordination that Steve has always helped with successfully, remaining dependable and responsive under pressure. For the last several years, Steve Stone has worked in the Information Technology department of the
Memorial Union at Emporia State University. Over time, he has worked himself up from an entry-level
technician to now manager of several staff and students. Currently, he holds a Technical Support
Consultant II title.
The President’s Office has a lot of visitors from around the country and world. We often hold major
events with hundreds of people in the student union. These events are complex and require a lot of
coordination and creativity. Steve has always remained dependable and responsive under pressured
circumstances. He knows how to make complicated systems perform and leads others.
