Steve Liss is a nationally acclaimed photographer who worked for Time magazine for 23 years, photographing six presidential campaigns and having 43 of his photos appear on the cover. His book "No Place for Children: Voices from Juvenile Detention" won two major journalism awards and brought attention to poverty in America. He is now the executive director of AmericanPoverty.org, an organization using photography to raise awareness about poverty in the US. Endicott College is hosting a talk by Steve Liss on his current works and projects at their Rose Performance Hall on March 3rd at 4pm, with a reception to follow.
