One world Essay
Stem cell

In the human body 99.9% of DNA is exactly the same, only 0.01% of DNA
is different and it is the cause of all diseases and injury. In 1980 Ernest A
Maculloch and James E Till discovered last stem cell. Stem cells were announced
as the greatest cells in the human body, because they can propagate themselves
without any help except some. It can cure the patients’ diseases and injury. Stem
cell is the best cell in our body to cure any diseases and injury even there are
many difficulties. Benefits and difficulties of stem cell are depending on how the
human use stem cell in good way or bad way. It will help humans to develop a lot
and the development could be evolving human being. This essay is about how
stem cell works, 3 benefits, 3 limitations and 2 one‐world issues, which are
ethics and social.
Stem cell is a cell that can renew any cell and cure a person. It is the cell
that uniquely grows specially; because stem can copy themselves. In order to use
stem cells to cure humans, we need to put in the signal to the cell and the cell
begin the change the cell because signal order stem cell to change type of cell.
The cell will continue make the clone of the type of cell to make new protein.
Basically, there are two types of stem cell has two parts, which is the embryonic
stem cell and adult stem cell. Embryonic stem cell is a fetus and adult stem cell is
from people who have already grown fully. This is the reason of why people get
hurt; they need to cure themselves for adult stem cell exists. Embryonic stem cell
is for development of the baby. From one cell it makes the copy of cell and make
the all body part from one cell. Both have almost the same function in our bodies.

Totally, there are three benefits to stem cells. First of all, both stem cells
can provide new treatments of disease and injury, also it provide new scope of
science. This stem cell uses are not complete to use so scientist can discover the
new treatment. Secondly, stem cells can cure most of diseases and injuries.
Curing the most diseases and injury is how great it is. When we discover the
treatment fully it could be the best cell. Lastly, there is one benefit for each type
of stem cell. Embryonic stem cells can develop into any type of cell and make
copy of the cell. When we inject embryonic cells to any part of cell, it can make
the copy of that part. The benefit of adult stem cells is that the risk of stem cells is
reduced because adult stem cells come from the patient. When we put patient’s
own cell it has same disease cause it has same DNA with the patient. These
reasons are why accept group is allowed to use stem cell.
There are also some difficulties of using stem cells. First of all, the
technology and medicine of stem cells is completely unknown to use to patient. It
means for now we cannot use stem cell treatment because it is too danger to use.
And it can be helpful to human beings but it also can be harmful treatment to
human beings. Secondly, stem cells can make coronary arteries become

In conclusion, stem cell has more benefit than difficulties. Stem cell should
improve over the future to cure all diseases and injuries until no patients. There
are some harmful reasons not to use it, but it would be solve the problem after
research is finished. Topic of one world essay that is stem cell was good because
student should know this. Because stem cell will change our future. Scientist
need to continue to investigate stem cell, government need to aid in financial
way cause it is too expensive to do it alone. In my opinion stem cell should
continue until investigation is 99.9% complete, so finally human being’ can be
helped by stem cell.
