Stamp 1G can be issued to two groups - graduates who have finished their studies in Ireland and are seeking employment, and spouses of those holding critical skills employment permits. For graduates, Stamp 1G allows them to seek work subject to conditions under the Third Level Graduate Programme. 2. What is Stamp 1G?
• Generally, Stamp 1G indicates you have finished your studies
in Ireland and have permission to look for employment here
under the Third Level Graduate Programme, subject to
conditions.
• However, on 6th March 2019 Irish Naturalisation and
Immigration Service (INIS) has implemented the revised
Immigration arrangements for the Spouses and De Facto
Partners of Critical Skills Employment Permit Holders and
researcher under a Hosting Agreement. Under which they will
receive Stamp 1G which allows them to work in Ireland,
subject to conditions.
