St. Anne was the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus. She was born in the First Century and died after Jesus was born. As the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus, she is considered the patron saint of Christians, mothers, women, grandparents and miners. Her husband Joachim died after Mary was born, and they dedicated Mary to God recognizing her special role. St. Anne prayed to have a child and was blessed with Mary, whose name means "incense that rises up to God," making Anne very happy with her gift from God.

Laura Biography
Laura Vicuña was born in 1891 in Chile to an aristocratic family who went into exile during a revolution. She was sent to boarding school run by nuns in 1900. Laura had a deep faith and took Saint Dominic Savio as her model. She wanted to help convert her non-religious mother. Laura became very ill after her school was destroyed in a flood in 1903. In January 1904, while burning with fever, she told her mother she offered her life to Jesus for her mother's conversion. Laura died at the age of nearly 13 and was later beatified by the Catholic Church as a model of youthful holiness.

St. Clare was born in 1193 in Assisi, Italy and died in 1253. She left her wealthy family in 1211 to join St. Francis and live a life of poverty, starting the order of the Little Sisters of the Poor. St. Clare is the patron saint of television because it is said that on one Christmas Eve, when she was sick, she saw and heard Mass clearly on her bedroom wall as if she was there in person.

She is now the patron saint of Catania, Malta, and others, with her feast day on February 5th. She died as a martyr during the persecutions under Emperor Decius in 251 AD.

St. Monica was the mother of St. Augustine. She prayed constantly for her son's conversion to Christianity as he strayed from the faith for many years. Through her persevering prayers and example, St. Augustine eventually converted and became a prominent Christian saint and bishop. St. Monica died shortly after seeing her son's conversion, confident that her prayers had been answered.
St. Martha
St. Martha lived in the 1st century and her feast day is July 29. She is the patron saint of housewives, cooks, servants, and hospitality workers. St. Martha and her sister Mary were friends of Jesus and often hosted him in their home in Bethany. While St. Martha was energetic and focused on hospitality tasks, Jesus reminded her to make time to spend with him as well, valuing their relationship over work.

There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
