This document appears to be a series of pages from 2016 containing various symbols, numbers, and text fragments with no clear overall narrative. It includes references to pages, symbols like dots and Ls, numbers that could represent metrics like file sizes, percentages, and counts, and brand names like Yahoo! and SmartNews. The document lacks sufficient context and cohesion to summarize in 3 sentences or less.
People often need to use servers to count on time-series information that is generated during
activities of people and organizations. In this counting, because a server cannot predict range of information
to accept in future, a server needs not only to add numbers on the counting table but also to extend the table.
This paper provides new denition of secure counting on time-series information. Based on this denition,
the paper describes four methods that hide time-series information by secret sharing and that count on it by
multiparty computation. These methods are evaluated in terms of memory size, communication round, and
communication amount. It is claried that a method that accesses the table exhaustively is best in memory
size and communication round and a method that uses recursive Oblivious Random Access Machine is best
in communication amount.
The document discusses several topics related to global development:
1. It describes Darwin's Nightmare about the introduction of Nile Perch to Lake Victoria and the negative consequences that resulted, such as job dependence on fishing and the spread of HIV/AIDS.
2. It discusses progress toward the Millennium Development Goals between 2000-2015, noting successes in some areas but uneven progress overall with many targets unlikely to be met.
3. It explains the concept of "demographic dividend" where falling birth rates and a rising working age population can boost economic growth, but notes this benefit varies between countries.
