This project allows students to research Christmas traditions around the world using the internet. Students will be divided into groups to research the Christmas traditions of assigned countries like Sweden, Italy, and Mexico. Each group will create a presentation on the traditions of their assigned country. The goal is for students to learn about different cultural celebrations of Christmas and promote tolerance of other traditions.

use the Internet as a research tool to locate information about different Christmas
celebrations around the world. By discovering the way the world celebrates, students
have an opportunity to learn about tolerance.

4. პროექტის მიზნები ​Students will identify Christmas traditions from another country
other than the United States. Students will compare and contrast their Christmas
traditions with traditions from another country. Students will apply basic Internet
browser and navigation skills to search for information on the Internet.

9. პროექტის მსვლელობა ​1.)Talk about the Internet as an information source. Ask
students to share some of their personal Christmas traditions with the class. Record
the different answers on the board. Then discuss how some of our traditions are
different from each other. Then explain that people around the world have different
traditions than the United States. Tell students they are going to learn about how
Christmas is celebrated around the world.
2.)Divide students into five groups and give them a country to research.
Each group will be given a country from the following list: Sweden, Italy, Poland,
Germany, Mexico, England, Australia. Allow each group to choose a recorder,
researcher, and a presenter before beginning the research.
4.)Then give each group a copy of the slideshow presentation in a handout form to
record their research.(​Christmas Around the World​) and then make a ppt
presentation.
