Jesus visits Martha and Mary in their village home. While Mary sits and listens to Jesus teach, Martha is distracted by preparing a big dinner. Martha complains to Jesus that Mary isn't helping her, but Jesus says Mary has chosen what is better by listening instead of worrying over details.

1. Jesus Visits Martha and Mary
As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to
Jerusalem, they came to a village where a woman
named Martha welcomed him into her home.
耶穌在馬大與馬利亞家中
耶穌和門徒去耶路撒冷的途中路過一個村莊，
遇到一位名叫瑪大的女子接待他們到家裡作
客。

2. Her sister, Mary, sat at Jesus’ feet, listening to what he taught.
But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing.
瑪大的妹妹瑪麗亞坐在耶穌腳前聽
道， 瑪大為了招待客人忙亂不已。

3. Martha came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it
seem unfair to you that my sister sits here while I
do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”
於是瑪大上前對耶穌說：「主啊，我妹妹讓我
一個人伺候大家，你都不管嗎？請你叫她來幫
幫我吧。」

4. But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried
and upset over all these details! There is only one thing
worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and
it will not be taken away from her.”
耶穌對她說：「瑪大，瑪大，你為太多
事情憂慮煩惱。其實最要緊的事只有一
件，瑪麗亞選擇了上好的，是奪不走
的。」
