Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura was born on February 6, 1874 in Puri, Odisha. As a child he memorized the Bhagavad Gita by age 7 and was considered an expert in mathematics and astrology, defeating scholars in debates. He was initiated by Srila Gaura Kisora dasa Babaji and went on to establish 64 Gaudiya Vaishnava temples in India and abroad, coining English terms to describe Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy. He worked tirelessly to spread Gaudiya Vaishnavism through various preaching methods including building opulent temples.

Srimad Bhagavatam
Srimad Bhagavata Purana_The ripened fruit of all Vedas
In the great Naimasharaya forest, in the assembly of the exalted rishis headed by Rishi Śaunaka, the perfect one – Śrī Sūta Gosvāmi recited to them – the Bhāgavat Purāna as sung by Śrī Sukadeva Goswami to Maharaj Parikshit on the banks of Ma Ganga near Hastinapur, amidst the greatest confluence of enlightened sages from all over the universe. Śrī Sukadeva, a self-realized perfect soul – an Avadhuta, narrated the greatest of purana when only 16 years old, but more learned than all the realized rishis present. Śrī Sukadeva studied the Bhāgavatam through upanishad from his father, compiler of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam – Bhagvān Veda Vyāsadeva (Bādarayana), Lord’s avataar.

This (idaṁ) scripture (purāṇaṁ) named (nāma) Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (bhāgavataṁ ) is the literary incarnation (brahma-sammitam) of God (uttama-śloka-caritaṁ), and it is compiled (cakāra) by Śrīla Vyāsadeva (ṛṣiḥ), the incarnation of God (bhagavān). It is meant for the ultimate good (niḥśreyasāya) of all people (lokasya), and it is all-successful (dhanyaṁ), all-blissful (svasty-ayanaṁ) and all-perfect (mahat).
~ Sūta Gosvāmi in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (1.3.40)
As God is all light, all bliss and all perfection, so also is Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. One can derive from its study all benefits that are possible to be derived from the personal presence of the Lord. It carries with it all the transcendental blessings of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa that we can expect from His personal contact. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam should be worshiped as respectfully as we worship the Lord.

Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu has declared that Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the spotless (amalam) representation of all Vedic knowledge and history. What can be said more about this maha-purana? It is directly the Lord Himself – Krishna, Uttama-śloka in His absolute literary incarnation.
Mahaprabhu while giving confidential instructions to Sanatana Goswami says – “Just try to understand the real nature of Srimad-Bhagavatam. It is the sound representation of the Supreme Lord Krishna; therefore Srimad-Bhagavatam is not different from Krishna. Krishna is unlimited,

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. 6 February 1874
• Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur: The Deputy
Magistrate/Deputy Collector of Puri had a dream of
Lord Jagannatha: Requested someone from his
personal servants.
• The kid was born was named Bimla Prasad.
• During the Ratha-yatra, the chariot stopped in front
of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s house, and
Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati’s mother took the 6
months old kid onto the chariot; and a garland from
Lord Jagannatha fell directly onto the baby–
blessings.
4. Only ate Prasadam:
Food offered to the Lord
• One day, when Bimala Prasada was still a
child of no more than four years, his father
mildly rebuked him for eating a mango not
yet duly offered to Lord krishna. Bimala
Prasada, although only a child, considered
himself an offender to the Lord and vowed
never to eat mangoes again.
• By the time Bimala Prasada was seven years
old, he had memorized the entire
Bhagavad-gita and could even explain its
verses.
5. Expert at Mathematics and Astrology
• Bimala Prasad was Awarded the title Siddhanta Saraswati by his
tutors, Pandit Mahesh Chandra Chauramani and Pandit Sundar Lal.
• He used to debate everyone he met on all sorts of subjects. No one
who argued with him was ever able to defeat him.
• Just as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had defeated a great scholar, Kesava
Kasmiri at a young age, so similarly Bimala Prasad once, during his
later college days, debated a scholar named Panchanana
Sahityacharya, the disciple of Vasudeva Sastri, a very famous
professor of that time on topics of astrological calculation.
• Defeated the arguments of many Sahajiya groups that were existing
during early 1900s.
6. Got initiated from Gaurkishore Das Babaji
• Srila Gaura Kisora dasa Babaji many a
times had lived with Bhaktivinode
Thakura.
• Srila Bhaktisidhhanta Sarasvati by
gradually observing him, realized that a
pure Vaishnava only can be of such
exemplary character. He felt his false ego
diminished seeing Babaji.
• He asked him for initiation and after
asking him for 3 times.
7. Established 64 Temples in India and Abroad
on Gaudiya Vaishnavism
• He coined the terms in the English language,
of the Gaudiya Vaishnava terminology like
Ishwarah Pramah Krishna: Krishna the
Supreme Personality of Godhead.
• He tried many methods of Preaching like
wearing English costumes and staying in
modern cars like Limousine to building
opulent temples.
