S-Survey: Survey the Cellular reproduction section 1, 2 and 3 and
in your science journal write 2-3 sentences briefly predicting what
you think these sections will be covering.
Q-Questions: For sections 1,2 and 3 write 3 “Right There”
Questions, 2 “Pulling it Together” questions, 1 “Text and Me”
question and 1 “On my own” question. There should be a total of
15 questions (5 for each section). Do not forget to write the
answers to your questions as well as the type of question as you
will be using them tomorrow in your groups.
Tomorrow:
R3-Read, Recite and review: One by one you and your group
members will give your questions to the other group members. The
other group members must answer each question as well as
identify what type of question it is. Have your group members try
to pin point exactly where the answer is found and on what
page(s).
D- Drawing summary: After everyone in your group has finished
their questions and answers then each member must then complete
a drawing in their science journal that summarizes everything they
have learned in the section.
