Sheila Lamar reflects on her time as a cheerleader at Boise State University over the past 1,132 days, which has now come to an end. She is grateful for the memories made, experiences, and friendships during her time cheering and representing her school. As someone from New Jersey, she now feels a strong passion and connection to Boise State, and knows that as an alumna she will always have a place at the university. I am beyond blessed and forever grateful for the memories I have made, the experiences I have been lucky enough to have, and for the friendships I’ve made along the way. Being a cheerleader at Boise State is indescribable. I never would have imagined having such a passion for my school, especially being from so far away in New Jersey, but I can now proudly say that I bleed blue. Although I am moving on and beginning a new chapter in life, I know I will always have a home in Boise. I have cheerleading to thank for that. I cannot wait to return as an alumni and watch the spirit squad grow and progress for years to come. Thank you Boise State for a truly unforgettable journey, Go Broncos! Our Year in Review
