SPEED partnered with Mercedes for the United States Grand Prix to provide an exclusive second screen experience called the F1 On-Board pass, which allowed viewers to watch live onboard camera angles of their favorite drivers on their devices while watching the live race on TV. The On-Board pass was later used for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race to give fans the ability to follow select drivers from their computers, tablets, or phones during the live broadcast. In addition, SPEED created a full sponsorship package for Corvette Racing around the 24 Hours of Le Mans event, including editorial content sponsorship and a homepage takeover during race weekend to promote Corvette.
