How about being a speech pathologist? Does it make any sense to me? I dream about being a psychologist, even a sly of hope I got nothing. And now that God leads me in the way to become a future SPED teacher, does it give me a feeling of satisfaction? One word: YES! I could say from the bottom of my heart that I got to love every topic we tackle in this subject. It’s not because we were able to learn some speech terms, it is because of the priceless lessons. <br /> Is it an easy task to become a speech pathologist? Seriously, when I knew about such profession, I did have this excitement in my heart. I want to be like one. I would love to extend my outmost care for these most love people in the near future. As I read this chapter, it adds something spice in my life. I really had put it in my mind that this is an interesting career to have. In this chapter, many young professionals are engaging in this kind of career and they’re really inspired to do their best. It had been said here that as a speech therapist you’ll get to enter many lives, shares many burdens and heal many old wounds. It’s same with a special teacher you get to meet different students who need special attention and expect to share and extend your unwavering care and love for this people. Somehow it maybe so frustrating if things don’t go on your way, if what you had taught isn’t good enough. But that’s how challenging the role is, you have to do it harder and hope for the best outcome. I believed that every role, career and profession is a will of God and your best choice. I think there is no profession out there doesn’t come along with an effort, passion and love for work. Though, some people needs money, material possessions or anything they want the question here is: Are they happy about that? Are they happy doing it for owns sake while others are in pain? <br />I had come to think about Speech Pathology as a Profession is somehow strange. It’s a forest that you can’t tell what you’re up to when you’re in that place. For some people, they may have this unwanted feeling about this profession yet for me, a very positive energy. If I’d get the chance, I’d embrace it with arms wide open. Why not enter this world; this is a complex way of life that you’d get to love later on. <br />
