This document provides information about special right triangles, specifically 45-45-90 triangles and 30-60-90 triangles. It discusses the angle measurements of each type of triangle, the relationships between side lengths if the hypotenuse is defined as 1, and how to calculate the sine, cosine, and tangent values of the angles using the side lengths. Examples are provided to demonstrate calculating side lengths using the Pythagorean theorem and determining trigonometric functions for a 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangle.
The document discusses the midpoint formula. It provides the formula for finding the midpoint between two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2), which is to take the average of the x-coordinates and the average of the y-coordinates. An example is worked through to demonstrate finding the midpoint between points (2,3) and (5,7), which is (3.5,5). Another example finds the midpoint between points (3,15) and (12,9), which is (7.5,12). The document emphasizes that the midpoint formula provides a simpler way to find the point equidistant from two given points compared to using the distance formula.
The document introduces the distance formula and how it is derived from the Pythagorean theorem. It begins with examples of finding the distance between two points when there is no change in the x- or y-coordinates. It then presents a example where there is a change in both x and y between two points. It shows how to set up this as a right triangle and use the Pythagorean theorem to derive the distance formula: d=√(y2-y1)2+(x2-x1)2. The document explains each part of the formula and how it relates to the coordinates of the two points and the legs of the right triangle formed.

Adaptive synchronous sliding control for a robot manipulator based on neural ...IJECEIAES
Robot manipulators have become important equipment in production lines, medical fields, and transportation. Improving the quality of trajectory tracking for
robot hands is always an attractive topic in the research community. This is a
challenging problem because robot manipulators are complex nonlinear systems
and are often subject to fluctuations in loads and external disturbances. This
article proposes an adaptive synchronous sliding control scheme to improve trajectory tracking performance for a robot manipulator. The proposed controller
ensures that the positions of the joints track the desired trajectory, synchronize
the errors, and significantly reduces chattering. First, the synchronous tracking
errors and synchronous sliding surfaces are presented. Second, the synchronous
tracking error dynamics are determined. Third, a robust adaptive control law is
designed, the unknown components of the model are estimated online by the neural network, and the parameters of the switching elements are selected by fuzzy
logic. The built algorithm ensures that the tracking and approximation errors
are ultimately uniformly bounded (UUB). Finally, the effectiveness of the constructed algorithm is demonstrated through simulation and experimental results.
Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed controller is effective with small synchronous tracking errors, and the chattering phenomenon is
significantly reduced.

A review on techniques and modelling methodologies used for checking electrom...nooriasukmaningtyas
The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.
Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...IJECEIAES
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.
3. The measurements, and sin-
cos-tan of the angles
Right triangles are a special kind of triangle which has one angle that
is 90 degrees, and the other two angles sum up to 90 degrees to
get 180 degrees, the total number of degrees in a triangle
Within right triangles, there are 2 special types of right triangles that
have very specific (and helpful) rules and ratios. They are the 45-45-
90 triangle, and the 30-60-90 triangle. These are the breakdowns of
the degrees for both triangle types:
4. 45-45-90 triangle
Like its name suggests, a 45-45-90 triangle consists of 2 angles that are 45
degrees and the third which has 90. Because the 2 angles are congruent,
the opposite sides to both these angles have to be congruent as well. If the
hypotenuse of the 45-45-90 triangle is 1, then the other 2 sides each have a
measure of the square root of 2 divided per 2
We can use the Pythagorean Theorem to confirm this:
A2 + B2 = C2
5. 45-45-90 triangle
The hypotenuse is 1, so C2 would equal 1. If we take the square of (root
2)/2, we get 2/4 which can be simplified to ½. Since A and B are the
same, ½ + ½ = 1, meaning the lengths of A and B are accurate. Let’s try to
find the sine, cosine, and tangent of the angles that are 45 degree
For a quick recap, sine is calculated using opposite/hypotenuse,
cosine is calculated using adjacent/hypotenuse, and tangent is
calculated using opposite/adjacent
6. 45-45-90 triangle
If we take angle B and want to find the sine,
we identify the opposite side, which has a
measure of (root 2)/2, and we divide it by
the hypotenuse, which is 1, so sine would
just be (root 2)/2
The cosine would also be (root 2)/2
because the adjacent side is the same as
the opposite side. The tangent would be 1
because we divide the opposite by the
adjacent
A
B
C

8. 30-60-90 triangle
The next type of special right triangle is a 30-60-90 triangle.
Like its name suggests, a 30-60-90 triangle consists of 1 angle that is 30
degrees, one angle that is 60 degrees, and the one which is 90
If the hypotenuse of the 30-60-90 triangle is 1, then the side opposite to
the 30 degree angle has a length of ½ and the side opposite to the 60
degree angle has a length of (root 3)/2
We can use the Pythagorean Theorem to confirm this:
A2 + B2 = c2
9. 30-60-90 triangle
The hypotenuse is 1, so C2 would equal 1. If we take the square of (root
3)/2, we get ¾. If we take the square of ½, we get ¼. 3/4 + 1/4 = 1,
meaning the lengths of A and B are accurate. Let’s try to find the sine,
cosine, and tangent of the 30 and 60 degree angles
10. 30-60-90 triangle
If we take angle A and want to find the sine, we
identify the opposite side which has a measure of
½ and we divide it by the hypotenuse which is 1,
so sine would just be 1/2. The cosine would be
(root 3)/2 because the adjacent side has a length
of
(root 3)/2
Tangent would be 1/(root 3) because you divide
½ by (root 3)/2. If we want to find the sine, cosine,
and tangent of Angle B (the 60 degree angle),
you would swap the sine and cosine values of
angle A to get sine and cosine for angle B, and
you would find the reciprocal of tan (A) to get tan
