Organize a fashion show that showcases local
talent and advocates for sexual assault victims and
survivors by collaborating with organizations
throughout the city who have the same vision.
Participating organizations will have influences on
the community and the idea of raising awareness for
sexual assault victims and their loved ones.

Why Contribute?
Working directly with The Healing Center, Your Story understands the
importance and urgent need for awareness for the victims of Sexual Assault. Assaults are
the third highest crime in Milwaukee as they sit next to thefts and burglaries. The Healing
Center alone services close to 800 victims per year and is the second busiest sexual
assault treatment center in the United States.
With all of these statistics surfacing it is apparent that the Milwaukee area is in
need of programs, events, and community partnership that supports the victims, survivors
and their loved ones. Starting the conversation is the difficult part, let us be the ones to
make the first move.
