The Latino Students and Friends Association at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology will host weekly events in January 2017 focused on Latino culture and community. Events will be held every Wednesday from 12-1pm at 325 N. Wells, room 1014, and will include a meet and greet with food on January 11th, a discussion on the importance of Martin Luther King Jr. to the Latino civil rights movement on January 18th, and an ice breakers and time management strategies workshop on January 25th. The mission of LSFA is to increase awareness of Latino social, political, historical and cultural aspects and provide leadership opportunities connected to Latino initiatives.
