Carnival UK Digital Content Executive July 2013 – present
I currently work as part of the Digital team for Carnival UK predominantly for the cruise
brand P&O Cruises. My role is Digital Content Executive and my duties and experience
include:
• Managing and planning digital content for marketing campaigns, new product
launches and any new web content required, including managing campaign agency
support
• Creating new web pages and optimising existing web content for the brand websites
to Digital Team strategies and plans
• Supporting conversion tests on the website through the use of Monetate and
implementing learning’s into the website where possible
• Creating relevant content to support emails and display adds to ensure the best
possible digital customer journey
• Maintaining the sites general content and ensuring it is up to date and of a high
quality
• Managing daily ad hoc queries and website issues as one of the main points of contact
for the P&O Cruises brand website and working with IT where necessary to resolve
issues
• Managing a direct report and prioritising their workload as per the content roadmap
• Working with external agencies on new web developments to improve the usability
of the websites
• Supporting new web developments and ensuring they align with the content roadmap
• Using statistics to influence new and existing web content and optimise and improve
the customer journey

• Delivering content compliant with brand and legal guidelines
• Managing and planning content for homepage and promotional areas of the site to

responsive) UX and content considerations

I worked as part of the Digital team for the travel loyalty scheme Avios a shared global
rewards programme used by International Airlines Group (IAG). My role was Digital Content
Executive and my duties and experience included:
• Creating new web pages and optimising existing web content to Digital Team

Personal Statement
I am a very motivated and determined individual with a very hard working approach and a
passion for digital web content and marketing. I am comfortable working under pressure and
to tight deadlines. I enjoy a challenge and have a very friendly nature and work ethic so am
able to perform well both individually and in a team environment. In my spare time I enjoy
socialising with my friends and visiting new places.
