Lewis Nixon was born April 17,1861 in Leesburg,Virgina.
Lewis died on sep.23 1940 in Long Branch New Jersey
at age 79.

4. How The Sonar Impacted society
 The sonar was invented 1906.The sonar Impacted
society. It was used in the navy and by fisher.

5. Well is it still used today?
 It is still used for boats. But the navy uses radars. they
still use the Sonar .mostly radars. Some boats have
radar’s or sonar's installed in the boat.
