SOLO Station: Hexagonal Learning
Pick a specific topic you know extremely well in your subject area. This can be
at a KS4 or KS5 level:

     It must be a different topicto the one that you used at the ‘Question
                      Generator/ Thinking Square’ station

Unistructural

      Write 1 relevant thing you know about this topic on 1 hexagon. You are
      now displaying a unistructural level of understanding (surface
      understanding)

Multistructural

      Write as many relevant things you know about the topic on to SEPARATE
      hexagons. This is concerned with quantity of your understanding

Relational

      Try moving the separate hexagons together to find relevant links and
      relationships in your specific topic area. You are now moving to ahigh
      quality level of learning




Extended Abstract

      Where 3 or more hexagons meet (a ‘node’) can you generate a high
      quality question and create a solutionto the question?You are now have
      a deep level of understanding
