Spiritual transformation is defined as the lifelong journey beginning at conversion where God recreates people in Christ through his word to be his people and fulfill his purpose. It has the purpose of preparing people for good works and God's will, and involves a process of re-creation, reconciliation, and being in Christ through his word. Transformation means becoming God's so that he can then make people like Christ, with the goal of people being his with the responsibilities of sonship.

• We often think of Spiritual Transformation as
ME becoming like HIM (Christ).
• Becoming like Christ is the result of becoming
HIS (God’s).
• We must first be HIS and then He can make us
like HIM.
• We want the privilege of Sonship without the
responsibility of Sonship.
