Snowshill is a secluded village in the Cotswolds known for its manor house and gardens. The manor house dates back to the 15th-16th century and was purchased in 1919 by Charles Wade, who restored it and filled it with his extensive collection of craftsmanship and models. Though he owned the manor, Wade chose to live in the simpler priest's house on the grounds. The manor and its beautiful terraced gardens designed by Wade are now maintained by the National Trust for visitors to explore.
