This document discusses housing development and home ownership in post-socialist Albania. It describes two types of limited liability companies and charities that built homes, as well as the lexicon of money lending practices before and after 1997. It also outlines two trajectories - one of a woman entrapped by debt from a pyramid scheme home purchase, and another of a woman who relocated for new housing opportunities. Plans for Tirana's urban development on a "European model" are also mentioned.
