Every year UTC / SML is called upon to transport pipe around the world for new pipeline projects. We
have the experience to handle your tubulars, be they concrete or specialty coated (FBE, foam, etc.).
We are mindful of tier limitations, bevels, anodes and special handling requirements. UTC Projects can
load your pipe in the same sequence in which it needs to be installed offshore which minimizes
handling and maximizes productivity.
UTC / SML commonly supplies the actual pipe laying barge / vessel with pipe throughout the duration
of the actual pipe lay. We are also specialized in procuring rigging and other supplies needed to keep
the project on track.
