Smith Family in a Nutshell
By: Krysta Smith
Fall Time
 In fall time this is basically what the
Smith family lives and breathes.
Every Sunday my family goes to
represent my brother Peyton.
Obviously the one in black.
And it’s still fall
 When we aren’t running
around with football practice or
games my family, minus
myself, is hunting. My brother
got this deer this year. Last
year he got a little bigger deer,
which won him the Perry kid’s
buck pole.
Hot weather and a lot of hitting the
gym, it’s summer time
 My life, really our families
life is all about basketball in
the SUMMER! Who plays
basketball in the summer,
right? Well apparently
schools everywhere do.
Just when you think you
have vacation, not in high
school sports you don’t.
LOL!!!
 How could I forget about
my dad’s season. Also in
summer my dad thinks he
needs yet another thing
added to his plate so he
plays slow pitch softball.
Let me just tell you it is
really not that fun to watch.
Oh and there’s that other thing too
 Can’t forget that not only do I
play basketball three nights a
week but my brother plays
baseball two nights a week.
Contrary to popular belief my family does do other things
besides play sports all the time. Sports is only a 6 days out
of the week type of thing. On the other day we usually stare
at the wall, and on occasion go to the zoo.
Winter is usually here and gone before we know it. Basketball for both my
brother and I start so there isn’t much down time. Plus my cousin Jenna is a
triple sport athlete and plays year round, so seeing my other family is really not
in the question. When it does happen however we usually take a lot of pictures,
because with that little face time who wouldn’t?
Spring is when we look decent
Spring is the slowest
time for us. We like to
reconnect with each
other and be outdoors
a lot. No matter what
we are doing you
won’t catch the
Smith’s inside ever for
more than a few
hours.
At the end of the day we always make time for each other. Spending
time together is the most important thing to a family.
