How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.
How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

The Challenge of
Electromagnetic Disruption
Workshop Leader:
Colonel (Ret’d) Ralph Thiele,
Director Stratbyrd Consulting
Overview of the workshop:
Military operations are executed in an increasingly complex
and disruptive electromagnetic environment. Russia’s
growing technological advances in electronic warfare (EW)
will allow its forces to jam, disrupt and interfere with NATO
communications, radar and other sensor systems, Unmanned
Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and other assets. In the coming years
we may witness an ever-growing convergence of Russia’s
EW, cyber- and information warfare approaches which will
further challenge NATO’s concepts and practices.
About the workshop leader:
Colonel (R) Ralph D. Thiele is Managing Director of StratByrd
Consulting, Chairman Political-Military Society, Berlin, and
President EuroDefense – Germany. As Commander of the
Bundeswehr Transformation Centre he introduced Network
Enabling Capabilities into the German Armed Forces.
While serving in the personal staffs of the German Armed
Forces Vice Chief of Defence Staff, NATO Supreme Allied
Commander Europe and the Planning and Policy Staff of
the German Minister of Defence, Ralph has been involved
in numerous strategic, technological and political issues. He
has been Chef de Cabinet and Chief of Staff at the NATO
Defence College in Rome and Director of Faculty at the
German General Staff and Command College in Hamburg.
