MOBILITY - ESPECIALLY WITH MUSCLE STRENGTH POWERED - REQUIRES MEANS OF TRANSPORT, THAT ARE LIGHT AND EFFICIENT, YET ENSURE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SAFETY. ONE NAVIGATION SYSTEM THAT FACILITATES TACTILE INTERACTION WITH THE CONTROLLING PERSON HIGH ORIENTATION SECURITY IS POSSIBLE, BUT ONLY, IF THE PROCESSING OF THE TRAFFIC EVENT IS NOT SUPPORTED BY THE DISPLAY OR ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE DISTURBED. THE RESOLUTION OF THESE TWO CONFLICTING GOALS IS THE FOCUS OF THE PROJECT, WHICH IS DEVELOPING FIBRE COMPOSITE STRUCTURES. THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO SENSORISE VEHICLES USING SMART MATERIALS AND TO ACTUATE SAFETY-RELEVANT INFORMATION.
