fictitious

faking

joys
on
her
surface.
Throughout
her
days,
Sloane
mainly
daydreamed
of
her
nightmares.
For
her,
nightmares
weren’t
the
typical
bad
dreams
someone
generally
experiences.
Sloane’s
nightmares
suffocated
the
very
airways
of
her
morning
breath;
they
were
her
plague.
Instead
of
remedying
her
matters,
she
only
made
them
worse.
She
thrived
on
the
insults
the
other
ones
threw
her.
Catching
the
snares
and
rumors
with
a
flaming
hand,
she
pitched
even
more
insanity
into
her
psyche
–
she
was
obsessed.
Each
time
I
chanced
to
take
a
glance
at
her,
her
countenance
was
always
transfixed
with
a
fierce,
raised
eyebrow
and
an
intrigued
look
in
her
eyes;
always
wondering
and
obsessing,
never
consulting
or
speaking.
She
was
a
young
woman,
a
young
woman
with
no
apologies
to
make.
