Emperor Jimmu from 660-585 B.C. is said to have founded the Japanese imperial line based on his descent from Jimmu. The next three emperors who ruled were Emperor Suizei from 581-549 B.C., Emperor Annei from 549-511 B.C., and Emperor Itoku from 510-476 B.C.
