In a faraway kingdom, a king and queen were overjoyed at the birth of their daughter, Princess Aurora. However, they forgot to invite the 13th fairy to her christening, angering her. As revenge, the 13th fairy cursed Princess Aurora to prick her finger on a spindle and fall into a deep sleep at the age of 16. On her 16th birthday, while learning to sew, Princess Aurora pricked her finger and fell into a long slumber. Hundreds of years later, a prince found and kissed the sleeping Princess Aurora, breaking the curse and awakening her. They fell in love and lived happily ever after.
