In the article, THE WISE LEADER, HBR, May 2011, Nonaka and Takeuchi maintain that many leaders use knowledge improperly and don’t cultivate the right kinds of knowledge. A wise leader requires Explicit Knowledge, Tacit Knowledge and Practical Wisdom. (The ability to Know what should be done.) They go on to discuss the 6 abilities of the Phronetic Leader.
