The Digital Mental Health Project (dMHp) was created to promote responsible adoption of mental health technology through educational experiences. It offers DMH talks and workshops covering various mental health technologies, a DMH literacy series to help consumers and caregivers navigate options and engage care systems, and advisory/research services. These services include market analyses, competitive analyses, conference coverage, and customer insight research to support founders, implementors, and funders in the digital mental health field.
This presentation addresses how the MentalTech and MentalPharma sectors are collaborating. It was given at UCSF at the experiMental digital mental health conference.

This document discusses caregiver self-care and compassion fatigue experienced by caregivers. It defines a caregiver as someone who provides care for someone unable to care for themselves. Compassion fatigue is a condition of chronic exhaustion resulting from caring for another with a serious illness over an extended time, experienced mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually. Symptoms include feeling worn out, stressed, overwhelmed, angry, depressed, difficulty sleeping or focusing. Reasons for lack of self-care include guilt, unrealistic expectations, lack of support, and manipulation. Principles of self-care include assessing one's own needs and those of the care receiver to determine what care can be provided while still meeting one's own needs. The importance of caregiver

It describes different types of anxiety disorders like generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Treatment suggestions include relaxation techniques, cognitive restructuring and exposure therapies. Contact information is provided for local anxiety resources.

Challenges of virtual worlds mentioned include unintuitive interfaces, small relative audiences, and lack of interoperability between platforms.
