Similes and Metaphors are literary devices that compare two unlike things. Similes use "as" or "like" to draw comparisons, such as "as fast as a cheetah" or "like a gentle breeze." Metaphors directly state a thing is something else to make a comparison without using "like" or "as", such as "her eyes were daggers" or "he is a lion." The document provides examples of both similes and metaphors.
