In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. What is the importance of the last 10 days of Ramadan? The Prophet Muhammad used to strive hard during the last 10 days of Ramadan in a way that he did not strive at any other times. He used to do I’tikaf, seeking laylatul-qadr during this time. When the last 10 days of Ramadan came, he would stay up all night and wake up his family to worship and strive hard in worship.
3. So why did the Prophet do this..? The prophet Muhammad did this to indicate the importance he attached to worshipping he rabb and making the most of this special time. A Muslim should also strive hard in worshipping. May be this time will never come again. The reason for this is death-the spoiler of pleasures.
4. What is laylatul-qadr andWhy is it so important? Qadr the word means the night on which the decrees of matters for the coming year are ordained. The Word layl doesn’t mean ‘night’ as you all think It actually means the 24 hour from one magrib to another. This is because as you all should know in Islam night comes before day!
5. What is laylatul-qadr andWhy is it so important? It is important because: Allah’s decrees or matters are decided and written down on this night. It is the night on which the Quran was sent down. Allah described it better than a thousand months which is 83 year.. some people don’t even live that long! The night is described as peace.on this night many people are saved from punishment because of what they do to worship Allah.
6. Is there a fixed date for laylatul qadr? Most people say it is on the 27th of Ramadan. But you can never be sure. In on hadeeth by al-bukhari it says that the prophet came out to tell us when laylatul qadr was, and 2 of the muslims were arguing. He said: I came out to tell you when laylatul qadr was and so and so and so and so were arguing and it was taken away from me. Perhaps it is better for you. So seek it on the odd numbered nights. This is one hadeeth that indicates how bad it is to argue of fight.
7. What is I’tikaf? I’tikaf is the seclusion and staying in the mosque with the intention of becoming closer to Allah. This was the practice of the prophet. During the last 10 days of Ramadan especially. But in the year he was taken away he did 20 days of I’tikaf.
8. What things can u do in I’tikaf? The person may leave his place of I’tikaf to bid farewell to his wife. A women can meet her husband who is in I’tikaf You can cut your hair, clip one’s nails, clean ones body, wearing nice clothes or wearing perfume are all permissible The person may go out for some need that he must perform. The person may eat or drink or sleep in the mosque. But he must keep it clean
9. What things Nullify (or make it worthless) your I’tikaf Intentially leaving the mosque for no real reason, even if for a short time. Abandoning belief in Islam Losing ones reason due to insanity or drunkenness
10. What if you miss Laylatul Qadr?? If you do miss it then you are a deprived person. One who misses this blessed night then he has missed much good for no one misses it except from whom it is withheld. Its not important that you know if you got the night of laylatul qadr. The point is that you work hard for it.
11. Now for the historical dates of Ramadan.. just to tell you I'm not sure if these are accurate but I found them and I would like to share them: 17 Ramadan 2- the great battle of badr was fought 15 Ramadan 3- birth of hazrat hasan in madina 6 Ramadan 5-rasullallah set out for the battle of the conquest of Makkah 20 ramadan-8-rassullahah set out for the battle of tabuk
12. Battle of Badr The Great Battle of Badr took place on the seventeenth of Ramadan, two years after the Hijra. This was the first battle that the believers ever engaged in with the disbelievers, and it is, by far, the most famous and most renown, because of the several extraordinary events that occurred during it.
