Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction features John Travolta as hitman Vincent Vega, Bruce Willis as boxer Butch Coolidge, Samuel L. Jackson as hitman Jules Winnfield, and Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace, the wife of crime boss Marsellus Wallace. The film intertwines the stories of these characters, often out of chronological order, in a mystery of violence, redemption, and moral ambiguity set in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles.
