Thanks Rotary on the completion of Rotary Year 2019-20.Kalpit Sanghvi
Rotary Club of Rajkot had a successful year, becoming the first club to achieve several milestones including having over 100 members, the most women members, and highest donations to The Rotary Foundation. The club recognized members for their work in education, service, and contributions. The plans set membership goals for 16 regions and outline steps to achieve them. The document also explores membership trends in various countries, tactics that some areas are using successfully, and interviews RI President Ron Burton about the challenges of stagnating membership and how engaging members can help clubs retain them.
This document is the June 2014 issue of the Rotary Africa magazine. It includes articles about various Rotary club projects helping communities with needs like education, healthcare, and child welfare. It also provides information about Rotary International initiatives and recognizes Rotary clubs celebrating anniversaries. The cover story is about a Rotary club event involving boats, bikes, and friends.
This document discusses Rotary membership decline in southern Africa and the need to properly identify the root causes in order to choose the right solutions. It argues that clubs and districts often blame external factors like cost or busyness instead of searching internally. The real problem may be that Rotary has shifted from a member-oriented to project-oriented organization seeking members instead of focusing on members' value. The document stresses the importance of focusing on Rotary's core value proposition of developing acquaintances, upholding ethics, and applying service ideals through a fellowship of professionals, as outlined in Rotary's Object. Addressing the root causes will be key to reversing membership decline.
This document provides information about Rotary International and encourages membership growth. It discusses strategies clubs can implement to develop current members and recruit new members. Some suggestions include conducting exit interviews, ensuring members have roles to play, focusing on member happiness, promoting an open door policy, putting up flyers, and leveraging personal connections to find new members. The overall message is that clubs should set a membership goal for the year and try new strategies to attract and engage members.
Rotary's plan for the next 5 years focuses on increasing impact, expanding reach, enhancing participant engagement, and increasing ability to adapt. Rotary's Youth Service programs invest in young leaders through Rotaract, Interact, RYLA, Youth Exchange, and scholarships. These programs help youth develop skills and experience cross-cultural exchange. Important upcoming dates include Rotaract Week in March and World Interact Week in November. Youth protection is a top priority, especially for programs involving travel. The Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation provides college scholarships for Hawaii high school graduates.

Rotaract Communication Evaluation
“Communication works miracles for those who work at it”
As we know, all Rotaract clubs under District 3010
must work together to make this movement a success.
This requires timely coordination amongst the clubs and
the district. Over the past few months, we have
experienced a lot of issues in communicating with the
Presidents and Secretaries of each club. To ensure
proper interaction we have decided to award points for
the same.
Point system for Communication -
POOR - Minus 200
AVERAGE - +100 Points
GOOD - +200 Points
EXCELLENT - +300 Points

to have come up with a 30 page magazine of their club.Activities by clubs like Blood

eradication this month needs special acknowledgement. We could really see the Service Above Self
spirit of Rotary “Service above self” from the genres of projects done this month.
Club monthly reports are the face of the clubs. As an initiative to professional
development, we this time requested all the clubs to send the monthly Club reports
in Word/PDF Document. I must appreciate all the clubs to have send such creative
reports with information on projects done , presented beautifully.Last but not the Rotary International Theme

Games Delhi 2010. Way to go guys !!!
I’m glad to see that Rotaractors have lived up
to the motto of “Service Above Self” by
organising Blood Donation Camps all over the Comic Corner
city. Rotaractors truly always ready for the
rescue.
However there have been some shortcomings
that need to be worked upon. I would like to
request all club presidents to ensure that the
monthly reports must be sent as a single
doc/pdf file with images embedded within.
And do make sure the name of the file is
RC_ Clubname, for eg. RC_ASET.
Hope you keep up the good work
See you next month!!!!

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs
are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes
them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.
Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they
also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international
understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
