Young people should engage in politics to break social taboos, bring fresh ideas as future leaders who can enact change to address youth needs. However, many youth do not engage due to family discouraging politics, feeling insecure, and prioritizing employment over civic duties. To improve youth participation, political awareness must increase through practicing student politics and e-democracy while leading by example that politics is not bad when practiced ethically.
