This document describes three types of shots used in filmmaking: a three shot captures three actors in an "L" shape to show a scene with three actors; a two shot and medium close up shows two actors together in frame performing an action; a single shot with the frame off-centre to the left captures one actor looking to the right so the right side of the frame is empty.
