The Shoshone-Bannock tribe were skilled hunters and warriors who relied on hunting elk, deer, buffalo and other game for sustenance and materials. They lived in tepees and held spiritual beliefs about dreams, spirits like wolves and fire. Horses also played an important role in their culture and they have worked to preserve salmon runs and adopt solar power on their lands.
