the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century),
Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of
Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the
Terrace of the Leper King. Sunset is at Angkor Wat. Dinner is at local restaurant and
accommodation at hotel. Lunch is at local restaurant. Afternoon, continue to visit your
temple tour to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The
Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4
concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed

Day 2: Siem Reap discovery (B, L, D)
Breakfast is at hotel. In the morning, you visit the most famous of all the temples on the
plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable
in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the
Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the
prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers
symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of
the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Lunch is at local restaurant. In the
afternoon, you visit Preah Khan. Built by King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta
Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors. Ta Prohm. One of
the area's most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was
discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other
monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very
much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first
stumbled upon them. Dinner is at local restaurant and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B, L, D)
Breakfast is at the hotel. You have free time until the time met and transfer to airport for
the flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, You get pick up and transfer to visit the private
quarters of the Royal Palace are now home to the royal family and are therefore very
close to the public. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, the most
sacred temple in the country. Lunch is at local restaurant. In the afternoon, you head out
of town to visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious 'Killing Fields' of
Choeung Ek, which will give us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer
Rouge. We have time this afternoon, exploring Psar Toul Tom Pong, also called the
Russian Market", where anything and everything is for sales. You overnight in Phnom
Penh.
Day 4: Phnom Penh - Moc Bai Vietnamese border (B)
Breakfast is at the hotel. You spend free at own leisure until the time met and transfer to
