holes along the main body enable the product to be adjustable. Friction and elasticity of the Neoprene rubber are used to
hold the items being transported.

Tiltable Surgeon’s Chair
Standwich was designed to support
surgeons’ arms and lower limbs during
surgery. Clearwater Clinical was the
industry partner for this 6 month studio
project at Carleton University.

Bike Seat Prototype Cushioned Seat Prototype
The Bike Seat prototype proved that a tilting sit-to-stand stool can comfortably support the user at various seat heights and
angles. The Cushioned Seat prototype was created to determine if there is a tilt range that could accommodate a large
percentile of the target user population. Unfortunately, results were less conclusive with the second prototype.
The base slid backwards due to
insufficient friction between the base’s
feet and the floor.
