The aim of this talk is to give an overview on the Italian associations and organizations which sympathize with Free Software. The presentation highlights some of the main associations active in Italy in the area of Free Software and who sympathize with it, explaining what they do, how to get in touch with them and some curiosities.
The goals of this presentation are: to raise awareness on the topic, introduce new people to Free Software, strenghten and support the existent community.

group of users whose main objective is to
provide support and education for GNU/Linux
users, typically inexperienced users, and spread
the use of Linux across the territory.
LUGs can be found all over across Italy: in every
region, city and even small Italian towns.

divided by region and it is constantly updated.
