For today’s assignment, I want for you to deal with a topic that is one of the most profound and significant events 
to happen in the history of our country. I realize that this is an event that happened before you were born. It is 
however, recent enough for you to be able to have a discussion about it with someone who was born when the 
terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. I would like for you to interview someone in your family about their 
experiences on that Tuesday morning in September. I promise you, everyone who was born on that day 
remembers exactly what he or she was doing when they found out. Please use the paper below to do your 
planning, and the rubric on the back will be used to grade your final interview essay. Your final essay should be 
THREE PARAGRAPHS (6 sentences per paragraph) long and can be typed if you would like. This paper must 
be turned in with your final copy.
