Austin Crowder is a 17-year-old third world student who considers Bangkok home. He works as the chef and owner of a restaurant with an international menu featuring foods from around the world. In his senior seminar, Austin discusses the four ways of knowing - language and communication, perception and the senses, reason and decision-making, and emotion and feelings. He analyzes how he uses reason in making snap decisions during rugby matches, but also feels emotionally attached to helping kids through his support of Operation Smile.
