1. Teknik NyindhenPesindhén, atau Sindhén (dari bahasa Jawa) adalah
sebutan bagi wanita yang bernyanyi diiringi oleh orkestra gamelan.
Pesindén yang baik harus memiliki kemampuan untuk menyanyikan
tembang dimana dibutuhkan teknik khusus untuk melakukan ornamentasi
vokal dengan ciri khas sindhen.Menurut Ki Mujoko Joko Raharjo seorang
tokoh seni budaya Jawa, Pesindhen berasal dari kata pasindhian yang
berarti yang kaya akan lagu atau yang melagukan (melantunkan lagu).
Sindhén juga disebut waranggana (wara berarti seseorang berjenis
kelamin wanita, dan anggana berarti sendiri). Pada zaman dahulu
waranggana adalah satu-satunya wanita dalam panggung pergelaran
wayang ataupun pentas klenengan.

Kesenian Sindben terdapat di daerah seperti Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta, Sunda, Jawa Timur
dan daerah lainnya, walaupun terdapat beberapa perbedaan karakter. istik. Pada
pertunjukan wayang tertentu yang bersifat spektakuler, dapat mencapai delapan hingga
sepuluh orang bahkan lebih.Setiap penyanyi Sindhen mempunyai ciri khas masing-masing.
Walaupun dengan lagu yang sama, namun berbeda dalam hal jenis dan warna suara, teknik
vokal yang digunakan, penempatan ornamentasi, dinamika dan lain sebagainya. Perbedaan

2. Teknik KeroncongMusik keroncong telah menjadi bagian
dari budaya musik bangsa Indonesia. Di dalamnya terdapat

Indonesia, menjadikan musik keroncong memiliki karakteristik

Waldjinah merupakan penyanyi keroncong Indonesia. Beliau dijuluki Walang Kekek
karena lagu ciptaannya yang dinyanyikannya sendiri ber-judul "Walang Kekek begitu
membahana, dikenal oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Memulai kariernya dalam dunia seni
suara sejak berusia 12 tahun dan malang melintang dalam festival keroncong hingga
puncaknya meraih Juara Bintang Radio pada tahun 1965. Untuk memperkenalkan
keroncong Waljinah mengadakan lawatan ke banyak negara dan sering tampil di acara
Istana Negara. Waldjinah mendedikasikan talentanya dengan mendirikan Orkes
Keroncong Bintang Surakarta untuk mendidik penyanyi-penyanyi muda keroncong
(Sakaria, 2017).
Terdapat beberapa referensi mengenai sejarah awal musik keroncong lahir di
Indonesia, di antaranya bahwa bermula pada abad XVII ketika kaum mardjikers (bekas
tahanan/budak yang telah dimerdekakan) keturunan Portugis, mulai
memperkenalkanya di Batavia di permukiman mereka yang saat ini dikenal sebagai
Kampung Tugu, Jakarta Utama (Mintargo, 2018).

sendiri, pen-` dapat yang paling akurat dengan arti kata Keroncong
merupakan kata onomatope, yaitu kata yang berasal dari suara dan
bunyi alat musik Ukulele. Alat tersebut dimainkan dengan teknik
guitar rasgueado dan terdengar menimbulkan bunyi crong, sehingga
akhirnya digunakanlah istilah keroncong (Ganap, 2006).Bernyanyi

penting. Penyanyi keroncong harus dapat bernyanyi dengan gaya
khas keroncong asli sesuai dengan teknik bernyanyi keroncong.
Dengan demikian jika penyanyi tidak dapat bernyanyi sebuah lagu
keroncong dengan ciri-ciri tersebut, maka sering dikatakan tidak
ngroncongi, atau dapat dikatakan tidak ada ruh keroncongnya
(Buletin Tjroeng, 2015).

musisi otodidak, mencari nafkah

acaraacara. Pada masa kolonial
Belanda tahun 1940, Gesang
menciptakan lagu berirama keroncong
