This document outlines the steps and recommendations for implementing Localizer Performance with Vertical guidance (LPV) procedures using the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS). It describes the process for air navigation service providers and airports, which includes meeting with national authorities, conducting airport assessments and procedure designs, flight validations, safety assessments, approvals, and air traffic controller training. It also provides recommendations for aircraft operators regarding certification, installing updates, and obtaining operational approval.
