Accelerating implementation of PLM standards and required interoperability for
secured collaboration
Need for assessing PLM standards and their implementation
Need for Establishment of an open mature community of interest in terms of PLM
interoperability
Requirements
 Open methodology and platform
 Test driven and model based testing in order to short the time for availability and usage of
standards
 Short term results and exploitation for the support of Implementation of standards as well as
long term vision for innovation and improvement of the state of the art
 Using together a consistent set of standards in order covering operational needs
 Avoiding silos and fragmentation of standards

• Engineering of Test use cases, test scenarios and test data sets using a model based approach and
simulation in order to validate them.
• Not software integration, but cross organizational collaboration within a Dynamic Enterprise Network
• End to end collaboration within the supply chain
• Test bed infrastructure for a given testing scenarios deployed on virtualized servers in order to
support the deployment on the cloud or on premises
