situation. Also some small bit before the “break”, like “Don’t go anywhere, Uni-Versus continues right
after this!” or if we want to use school terms, something like playing a bell(?) and saying “There goes
the bell to end the first class and it’s time to take a quick break. But don’t go too far, Uni-Versus returns
right after this!” Is there another word for a break between classes in English?
RIKU:
Hello and welcome to Uni-versus, where the wise and old face off the young and bold. Today we will be
hosting a battle of the ages to see who is the best at university life. I’m Riku.
GRAHAM:
And I’m Graham and we will be your hosts for today. So lets meet the contestants.
RIKU:
First up the - scholars – lecturers introduce themselves – name, age, subject
GRAHAM:
And the challengers – students introduce themselves – name, age, subject
RIKU:
Let’s see who will come out on top in this battle of will and skill. So last week we asked you what
challenges you’d like our contestant to face and we picked the three most popular ones. The first
challenge today will test our contestant’s will. Today’s first challenge put or contestants will to the test.
Optionally, something like “The eating habits of university students aren’t always the healthiest. But in
our first challenge that may turn out to be an advantage.”
This is: Chubby Bunny. Chubby Bunny. -- maybe use another name? let them say Uni-versus or
something more related to our show and the university life? Graduation? University? Lectures? We
need to test this one out.
GRAHAM:
In this challenge, each team chooses one combatant to come forth (maybe use ‘one brave soul’,
‘Champion’ instead?) and stuff as many marshmallows into their mouths as possible. But here’s the
kicker: You need to be able to say the words Chubby Bunny.
RIKU:
The person with most marshmallows in their mouth to pronounce an audible “Chubby Bunny” wins. And

Earlier today we sent our teams on a shopping challenge, we gave them a tenner, a shopping list and a
set time to find out who can manage money better. So let’s see how they got on.

3. Wrong! Team name (team with no points) may have lost 2 battles, but they can still win the war in our
last, explosive round. We’re playing All or Nothing! (Maybe call it “The Exam”? In which case the line
could be “This is The Exam” with an ominous sound effect on the background?)
A breathtaking round of questions. I hope you’re are ready, because your extra reading material will not
help you. (We could also say “No cheating!”)
GRAHAM:
It is all about general knowledge!
So who will be king/queen /another title of Uni-versus? (Which team will be crowned as the Masters of
the Campus/Masters of the Uni-versus(maybe a bit too random wordplay on He-Man))

Here we need to explain the rules for the challenge. Something like:
I will ask series of questions. Teams buzz their buzzers to answer. Answer wrongly and the other team
gets one try on the question. The round lasts 60 seconds. The team with most points wins the
challenge.
